Nothing pains me more than being taken for a mug, not often I rant and rave about anything but ladies let me tell you this , please please please be so careful when buying beauty products online especially a well known auction sight!! *cough* EBAY.
I was super excited to have found what I thought was a wee bargain (we all know how much i love a bargain) on this web sight, the product being the Balms mary lou manizer, the seller stated that this product was 100% genuine item and she was selling as it was an "unwanted gift" so I thought happy days save myself a few wee bob !! I bought it for £13.00 plus postage and packaging, saving about £7. Now i wish i hadn't of bothered!!
My wee package arrived 3 days after purchasing it , which was excellent to be fair but to my disgust when I opened it I automatically new something wasn't quite right, I had seen the Mary Lou Manizer in shops and swatched it 1000 times before so once I opened to swatch my heart sank!! How could I have been so daft!! How does the saying go... if its too good to be true then it probably is! This product just looked like a transparent pressed powder, no shimmer in it what so ever!! The packaging looked cheap, the edgin of the box was purple and not pink and it was blurred,as for the details on the pack well that was just a give away!!Disgusted is an understatement! Never in my life will I buy another beauty product form EBAY again! I have now reported the seller for selling counterfeit goods ,Im not even worried about getting my money back, I just want to be sure to warn all of you so it doesn't happen to you aswell.
On a brighter note I caught my self on stopped being a cheap skate and bought another new Mary Lou Manizer from The Balms website.
I am so cautious now when purchasing online and i hope you all do the same after reading this. I have attached pics of my fake products detailing how to know a fake product just so you can see the difference.
