fab beach hair

Today i re-created a look i did yesterday on my hair using Parlour by Jeff Chastain, this product is a texturisin sea salt spray, i received this with julys birchbox. Firstly can i add that this smells amazing! I almost want to say that it has a scent almost like outdoors,flowers and freshly cut grass, its such an odd way to describe the smell of a product but if you already have this or tried it before then you will know exactly what I mean.
I first used this product yesterday, I was running super late for work and I did not have time to dry my hair after my shower, so instead I spritzed the product all over my damp hair, left it for a little minute then scrunched it to created a wavy look.I finished it off by plaiting the two front sections of my hair and pinning them back from my face,I set this in place with a little spray of Fudge's raspberry and vanilla hairspray which i purchased in my local suoermarket for £4.49. Can I tell you I got complements alllll day on my "beach look" hair, not quite sure that this was the look I was aiming for but hey if people love it then I'll have me some of that. Hehe.
This can be a Little bit pricey at £17 for a full size bottle but I believe it is worth every single penny. It would be perfect for while on holiday and you don't want to be spending ages on your hair, quick spray and a tousle of the locks and your good to.go. this is a cruelty free product and can also be used on coloured hair, so with me having multicoloured bleached and darkened hair then its a perfect product for me and I know that it is definately my new "go to" hair product for perfect lazy Sunday hair.

FM cosmetics luminous skin primer

Today i am still feeling absolutely terrible (chest infection) i look sooooo ill, almost grey in colour  (tmi) so rather than standing and doing 45 minutes to an hour of putting my face on (as i usally do) primer,concealers, foundations, powders, eyeshadows, liners etc i decided to try a different tactic today, more of a time saver really, i mixed some of FMs luminous skin primer with some of niveas medium bb cream and applied that to my face just as i would with my foundation, an ohh my god ! This product left my sick grey skin looking soo radiant! Almost like a dewy glow. And the radiant look lasted all day which i was chuffed about. And lets be honest girls these two products dont exactly break the bank when it comes to buying them, infact i purchased the Nivea bb cream in my local supermarket for £2.99 and FMs luminous skin is  £6.99 !! Fabulous prices for a product when combined left me feeling a million dollars on a very miserable day! And who said you cant put a price on beauty?? The wonder that is coconut oil

Hi my wee lovelys.
Todays i thought i would do my blog  on coconut oil,  I heard sooo many people rave about this product that i thought I would join in on the hype, but little did i know i already had the wonder that is this product in my cupboard the whole time!! My partner uses it for his cooking but i didnt even bat an eyelid as to what it was as to me it just looked like a white lump of lard (the nasty stuff my mum dumped into the chippan back in the 90s to cook chips) well let me tell you all right now this stuff is AMAZING!!! We purchase ours in our local super market and its £5.99, which is a bargin considering its multiple uses, it comes solid but when scooped out and rubbed together it melts sooo good!! My god lads like this can be used for EVERYTHING!! Firstly i started using it to remove my stubborn waterproof mascara , which took it off like a dream might i add! I also suffer really badly from  dry skin on my legs and arms so at night i started using it all over my body, the only down fall is i used to go to bed smelling like a coconut cream biscuit and looking like i took a swim in oil!.Not attractive! but in the morning after showering it off my skin was as smooth as a babies!!like seriously smooth and looked so radiant! I  have also tried it as a hair mask as i have bleached a section of my hair blonde and it has mended any damage that i have caused while doing so. Honestly though where does this stuff end!! I have seen tutorial of people using it to whiten their teeth but i can just bring myself to trial that just yet!! Maybe soon , and when i do i will be sure to let you all know how i get on.

Brows,brows, where for art thou brows

Hi my lovelys
             I just want to take this time to talk about the subject of the dreaded "perfect brow" . Jesus even saying those words sends shivers down my spine!! I , for one have never been one of the lucky ones to be blessed with the Perfect brows, as a child of the 80s i was a fan of plucking them out to within an inch of their life, actually to almost non existance! Yes i almost made my own eyebrows exstinct!!!  Since then i have struggled to regrow my brows back to full thickness, they are really sparse and grow in some parts and completely bald in other parts! Total nightmare! I always wished i was one of the brave ones that had the gooleys to go and get them tattooed on, but me being me i have this nightmare thought of them going completely wrong and ending up looking like someone out of a horror show!! No thank you!!
But thankfully with the wonder that is brow powder i have finally mastered the art of making my wee face look normal again and penciling/powdering them in. I have seen sooo many tutorial done with all high end products, but as a mummy to 4 i cant always afford the high end products, so being the bargin hunter that i am i have found the holy grail of bargins which is a company called fm cosmetics, i will go into this company in a bit more detail in a later blog aswell as this brow quad but for now OMG this brow quad is amazeballs!! Like as im sure you can all see i have little to no brows before application to having what looks like a full thick brow!  I am so so happy with this product and until i can put my faith into another brow product the fm one for me in number 1  hands down!  They may not be tattood brows but they look just as good and the wee brucey bonus is they can be washed away if any mistakes are made heheh .
