Autumn Fashion the Little Painted Way

As October kicks off with some fantastic weather ,I thought there is no better time to share some of my favourite Fashion Pieces with you all, and of course ever the bargain hunter, most of my items are from High street retailers or on-line boutiques, All of which are super affordable.

One celebrity I have become so obsessed with at the minute is the gorgeous Kylie Jenner, should it be on her snapchat, Instagram or Tumblr the girl always looks drop dead gorgeous , with an array of on trend outfits to match! But a few of my favourites that I have seen her in at present is the stunning Tan Seudette Asymetric dress and another is a Tan Seude Jacket. Both being paired with perfectly matching accessories of course. But unfortunately we all can't afford to go all High End and designer when it comes to our clothes, so I have sought out some "steal her style" options, just for you .

Another style I have fallen for this season is Tartan, I don't know what it is about it, Maybe the fact my Daddy grew up in Scotland and i'm showing my true colours , or maybe that it is just sooo gorgeous and super easy to wear, either dressed up or ultra casual. Personally tho I think no one wears it better than the Beautiful Emma Watson. Here she's wearing the stunning McQ Alexander McQueen Tartan Wool Puffball Mini Dress which would set you back a whopping £470.00. Instead I have chosen a super affordable option that looks just as good.

The next, I have to say is one my all time favourites, Burgandy/Berry shades are key at the moment , its a colour I always choose to fall back on , that's when im not wearing my usual Black (boring, I know) but Burgandy is a shade that will go with almost everything, should you choose to wear head to toe Berry tones is entirely up to you, but here Mollie King oozes sex appeal with this slinky leather skirt and pattern jumper, teamed up with  some super cute black ankle boots and a matching berry lipshade this just screams Autumn to me. I paired my look with a plain roll neck jumper for that added extra Autumn/winter feel.

Lastly I come to over the knee or knee high boots, Unfortunately being only 5ft I can't get away with this look as-well as others could, I just look like a wee child wearing my mums shoes again (hehe). But if I had to choose one celebrity who I think wears the look to perfection it has to be the Stunning Miranda Kerr . This just looks so sophisticated and super elegant.

I hope you all enjoyed my little fashion post and also hope you all have a fantastic start to October, but for now its Love hugs and kisses from

Ashamed to be in my own skin.

Hi lovlies
I'm only just back from my fab wee holiday but because of limited internet access I was not able to publish til i came home.I couldn't think of a better time than to discuss the #stoptheshame campaign that stellar.ie started around 8 weeks ago that I had only come across before I left for my holiday might i add (where have i been)
Seeing girls being able to walk around a beach in front of everyone with a little bikini on makes me want to throw on a huge woolly jumper and become a little holiday hermit and never show my body again....I have to confess I am 31 years old , I'm a mummy of 4 and i have never ever worn a bikini EVER! Don't get me wrong I  would absolutely love to prance around on holiday in a skimpy little two piece but unfortunately the little image demon in my head tells me other wise,
The reason being that While I was pregnant my skin stretched so bad that I was left with an awful amount of stretch marks and loose skin all across my stomach to the point where it just looks like I have skin of an old lady now, my belly button has become non existent  because of the loose skin that hangs above it. I refer to my stretch marks as my "tiger stripes" that I earned while carrying my babies though , I lovingly  tell my children that it's a little map to show where they have come from. I know I must sound like such a moaner and that a lot of women would give a limb just to have the "tiger stripes" that I have, yet here I am crying about them !  they just make me feel so unattractive... disgusting in fact! I don't feel comfortable with my husband to be even seeing my body, I still cover my tummy with my hands so he cant see it. As a 31 year old woman I should feel super sexy and have a nice toned tummy, not ashamed to show off at all. Jesus I don't even feel comfortable enough to take my kiddies to the swimming pool wearing a one piece because I feel like everyone can see my saggy old lady tummy and feels repulsed, now I know that people are not that bad but in my mind I feel like their eyes are burning through me.
I have and still am in fact considering cosmetic surgery just to remove the excess skin around my stomach,  no one knows how amazing that would make me feel about myself, and  if that's not self body shame then I  don't know what is. I know though that its 50% for my own self esteem issues and 50% for acceptance in society when I do eventually get the nerve to venture out in a bikini in the future. How wrong is that though, i shouldn't feel like I need to cover myself up so not to disgust others or myself, I want to say good ridings to this body shame of mine once and for all, I want to be able to flaunt my belly to the world and if the only way I can do that is by shouting from the roof tops #stoptheshame then so bloody be it. Ladies/gents/world here is my tummy, stretch marks and all!
Im sorry if it repulses you but if I can show you all this then its a hugeeee step in the right direction ,I just want to be able to say to each and every one of you, be proud of your stretch marks ladies, each one tells a little story of it's own, and believe me we bloody well earned them!! I hope this gives other women that feel the same way about their body the courage to show off their tiger stripes too
I hope you all have an amazing day whatever your up to, but for now its love, hugs and kisses from Littlepainted me xxxooo

Tag your it.... Blogger interview tag

Being a new blogger in town isn't always easy so when i saw a little post on Twitter from Emily looking for bloggers to be involved in her "tag your it" blog post i jumped at the chance as it will let you all get to know me a bit better.
Before I get started I was tagged by Emily and here is her blog http://www.floraalemily.blogspot.co.uk/

1.How did you get into blogging?
I have been interested in blogging for a long time, being a mummy of 4 reading other ladies/gents blogs used to be like my little way to escape from the mayhem (hehe)  but the more I followed these bloggers the more I realised hey this is something that i really wanted to do myself, so having a passion for beauty and cooking/baking I thought I would base my blog on those as these are the  things I trained for in college when I left school, but becoming a parent at only 18 meant I had to let it take a back seat for a while. So what better way to share my love than through my very own blog.

What advice would you give to beginner bloggers?
well considering im only new myself the best advice i could pass on is do what YOU want to do, find your neich then it will all come naturally to you when it comes to blogging about it. Also be patient, i found myself constantly checking how many followers i had on social media and how many hits my blog was getting, if your doing your best then the followers will find you and more importantly keep coming back each time you post.

What would be your dream campaign?
Im a huge fan of Marissa carter and her cocoa brown brand i follow her on twitter and snapchat, if.your not already following her then you are missing out, this lady is stunning and has a voice that would melt you.
Im already obsessed with all of the cocoa brown range but to be involved in a campaign for this would be a dream come true.

Do you have a plan for your blog?
The only plan I have for my blog is that it becomes a success and that it inspires others to start up one of their own.
i really hope you all enjoyed reading this tag interview and i hope you all have a fab day, but for now its love, hugs and kisses from LittlePainted me xxx
